I’m a consultant health psychologist at the Royal Free Hospital, London, working with patients, families and staff in the Intensive Care department. 

 

I am writing a book investigating human imagination in dreams, hallucinations and other altered states. These will be explored through the prism of neuroscience, lived experience and artistic accounts.

I received a Giles St Aubyn Non-Fiction Book Award (2024) from the Royal Literary Society. The book will be published by Profile Books (Wellcome Collection).
